How to Change the Interface Language
The PayTask service — a task manager for tracking piece-rate wages — supports two interface languages: Russian and English. By default, the language is determined automatically based on your browser settings.
Automatic Language Detection
When you visit the site for the first time, the interface language is selected automatically:
- If the browser language is Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, or Kazakh, Russian is set
- For all other browser languages, English is set
The selected language is saved in a cookie for 1 year, so on subsequent visits, the site will open in the same language.
Manual Language Switching
To manually change the interface language, follow these steps:
- Scroll down the page to the site footer
- Find the block with the text "Language:"
- Click the button with the desired language:
- 🇷🇺 Русский — for the Russian interface
- 🇺🇸 English — for the English interface
After clicking the button, the interface language will change instantly, and your choice will be saved. All interface elements — menus, buttons, messages, forms — will be displayed in the selected language.
Language Switching Features
- Language switching is available on all pages of the site through the footer
- The selected language is saved for all sections: task tracking, payroll calculation, chat, profile, and others
- When switching languages, the current page is refreshed, but you remain on the same page
- Language settings apply to the entire interface, including the process manager and reports on piece-rate wages
Resetting the Language to Browser Language
If you want to return to automatic language detection based on browser settings, delete the cookie named "lang" in your browser settings. After this, the language will be determined automatically on your next visit.
Changing the interface language does not affect your account data, tasks, payroll calculations, or other information — only the display language of the interface elements changes.
