What is task refinement
The task refinement feature allows employers to mark tasks that need improvement or correction. This helps systematize the process of improving work processes and task accounting in the payment system. Refinement is used to record comments, necessary changes in the task description, instructions, or payment parameters.
How to specify a refinement for a task
To specify a refinement, follow these steps:
- Open the page Task editor.
- Click the task editing button (✏️) next to the relevant task.
- Scroll down to the section with the field "💡 A refinement is required".
- Enter a description of the required changes or improvements. Maximum text length — 512 characters.
- Click the task save button.
If no refinement is needed, leave the field empty. When saving with an empty field, the task will be removed from the list of tasks requiring refinement.
Viewing tasks that require refinement
In the task editor, tasks with a specified refinement are automatically displayed with a note "💡 refinement required" and a short refinement text (first 32 characters). This allows you to quickly see which tasks need improvement when working with a task manager.
Refinement tasks summary
To conveniently view all tasks requiring refinement, use the Refinement tasks summary page. On this page, full information is displayed:
- Task group name and task name
- Full refinement text (no length limit)
- Information about the positions for which the task is intended
- Number of comments on the task (if any)
- Buttons for quick access to edit the task or view it in the editor
The access button to the summary is also available in the task editor with a badge showing the number of tasks requiring refinement. This helps quickly assess the workload for improving work time tracking and process quality.
Practical tips
- Use refinement to record employee comments, identified issues during task execution, or personal observations about the need for improvement.
- After making changes to the task, be sure to clear the refinement field to remove the task from the summary and keep the list up to date.
- Regularly check the refinement tasks summary to maintain process quality and effective salary calculation.
- Use specific and clear wording in the refinement description so that future editing is clear about what exactly needs to be changed.
