Workers and employers: 🤝 Sending and accepting invitations from employees and employers (PayTask Help)

How Invitations Work

PayTask helps track tasks, working time, and piece-rate payroll through the “employer–worker” connection. Invitations confirm roles, positions, and pay multipliers so the task manager and process manager can calculate payouts correctly.

Main States

  • Outgoing invitation — created by you and waiting to be accepted.
  • Incoming invitation — sent to you; you can accept or delete it.
  • Accepted connection — active work; task tracking and payroll reports are available.
An invitation always includes positions and pay multipliers (separately for weekdays and weekends) — these parameters affect payroll calculations.

The number of incoming invitations is shown as a badge next to the menu items “Me as a Worker” and “Me as an Employer” on the right.

How to Invite an Employer

  1. Open users/usersearch.php and go to the profile of the required person.
  2. Click “📩 Invite to My Employers” (visible on someone else’s profile).
  3. Specify positions and multipliers in the form (page pages/positionsnew.php).
  4. Send the invitation — it will appear in the “Outgoing invitations for employers” section on the pages/worker.php page.

How to Invite a Worker

  1. Go to the candidate’s profile via search.
  2. Click “📩 Invite to My Workers” and set the positions and multipliers.
  3. After sending, the request will appear in “Outgoing invitations for workers” on the pages/employer.php page.

How to Accept an Invitation

If You Are an Employer

Go to pages/employer.php → the “Incoming invitations from workers” block. Click “👌 Accept” to enable task tracking and payroll calculation using the specified multipliers. If needed, use “Delete” to decline the request.

If You Are a Worker

Open pages/worker.php → the “Incoming invitations from employers” section. The “👌 Accept” button activates the connection and allows you to perform tasks; “Delete” declines the invitation.

How to Cancel or Remove

  • Cancel outgoing: in the outgoing sections on the employer or worker pages, click “❌ Delete”.
  • Remove an active connection: in the user profile, select “❌ Remove current employer/worker”. In demo accounts, removing active connections is disabled.
  • Edit terms: use “✏️ Edit positions and multipliers” next to the required connection.

Where to Check Status and Reports

  • Connection status — in the user profile, you can see who sent the invitation to whom and which multipliers are set.
  • My Workers and My Employers — active connections on the “Me as an Employer” and “Me as a Worker” pages.
  • Reports: the “🤑 Payroll Report” and “✔️ Task Report” buttons are available from the connection lists and profiles.

Practical Tips

  • Before sending an invitation, agree on the list of positions and multipliers — they directly affect piece-rate payroll calculations.
  • Use profile search and the copy link button to quickly exchange invitations.
  • After accepting a connection, immediately check the reports to make sure payroll is calculated using the correct coefficients.
